The work areas within the ÖH are divided into departments. They usually consist of officers and administrators who are organized from within the student body. They are responsible for the following areas:

Economy and finance
Handling all economic matters of the student body of the University of Art and Design Linz together with the Chair.
Education and politics
Discussion of educational policy and its developments. Review of curricula and committee work (e.g. Senate or Curricula Commission).
Social & International Affairs
Social policy as well as support and advice for structurally disadvantaged people. Contact point for grants, subsidies, scholarships, insurance, etc.
Sustainability
Organization and coordination of workshops on the topic of sustainability. Creation of agendas for ecologically sustainable policies of the university representation.
Intersectional Empowerment
The Department for Intersectional Empowerment looks after students from working-class or unemployed households, those who have to finance their studies themselves, students with disabilities, mental and chronic illnesses and those who do care work.
Art & Culture
Coordination and organization of project funding for student projects, creation and support of cultural platforms, event series, etc.
Borrowings
Coordination of the ÖH rental service. Do you need a small bus or an unusual music system? The rental service offers all this and much more.
Dokapi matters
Supervision of the student café “DOKAPI”. Organization of events and functions, as well as maintenance of the student location.
Press & Public Relations
Contact person for the press. Communication interface of the university representation with students and the public.
