Project funding

With the project funding of the Students‘ Union of the University of Art and Design Linz, funding is awarded once a year by an external jury to unfinished projects by regular students of the University of Art and Design Linz. The maximum funding amount per project is €800. You can submit your project application here!

How the submission works

1. Submissions are made via the Calls platform of the University of Art and Design Linz.
In the project description it is important that you have a description of 2500-8000 characters and a time schedule as well as a financing plan, i.e. a list of what you will use the money from the ÖH for. If you have sketches, photos or other visualizations of the project. Visualizations of the project, you are welcome to send files up to 5MB.

2. Once you have finished your submission, please send the application on the Calls platform during the submission deadline (see below/wherever the timetable is).
If there are any deficiencies in the formalities of the submission, the Cultural Department will contact you so that you can submit the necessary changes in time.

3. Then it’s time for you to wait. The ÖH funding jury will decide in the jury meeting which of the grants will receive how much funding. The preparation and follow-up work takes a while, but all applicants will be notified of the decision on their project

4. If you have been awarded funding, you have one year from the date of the confirmation email to use the money and send a project report. Once this has been received and checked by the Department of Culture, you will receive the funding retrospectively!
If you are unable to submit a project report by the deadline, you can simply submit a brief application for an extension of the deadline projektfoerderung@kunstuni-linz.at.
