Who we are
The Students‘ Union of the University of Art and Design Linz (ÖH) is elected every two years and advocates for the needs and concerns of students. Organized in various departments, students work to make the University of Art and Design an open, creative and safe place. A place where everyone can develop freely, regardless of gender, identity, social background or origin. Students in different life situations are supported with the social pot, tuition fee subsidy and project funding. With the “Dokapi”, the ÖH also offers a cozy retreat where the occasional party can take place. The ÖH sees itself as a critical mouthpiece for all students at the University of Art and Design Linz.
Chair Team
In addition to managing, coordinating and organising the ÖH team, we also see ourselves as mediators between the individual departments, the student representatives and the students. The chair team is responsible for representing the interests of students vis-à-vis the Rectorate, the Senate and the University Council as well as representing the ÖH University of Art and Design Linz externally in state authorities and institutions.

Student representation
The Student Representatives (StV) advocate for the interests of students at the program level, as well as within the university. Each student representation has an assigned budget, which is managed by the respective student representatives. The names of the student representatives at the University of Art and Design Linz can be found under ‚Student Representatives‘ or are available at the office of the Austrian Students‘ Union (ÖH).
